Seddon Music exists to enrich lives through the gift of music! Located in Caves Beach, Seddon Music serves the community with private and group music lessons and resources for guitar, piano, drums, bass, jazz, contemporary, woodwinds, brass, classical, theory, bands and much more.
Music Lessons at Caves Beach
At our Caves Beach studio we offer music lessons for all levels, ages and abilities and teach a number of instruments. Our innovative way of teaching will ensure the student progresses fast whilst greatly enjoying lessons.
Group Keyboard Lessons
In 2025 we are offering group keyboard/piano lessons. The lessons are 50 minutes long and include instruction, educational games, playing together and individually and includes all resources needed. You just need a keyboard or piano at home to practice. You can usually find something fairly decent to start with on gumtree or facebook marketplace. The group lesson is amazing value at just $48.
We love sharing music with our students and watching the capacity of each individual grow as they learn how to play their instrument, having a stack of fun along the way.
Private Music Lessons
All our teachers use our unique curriculum that Glenn has developed over 35 years of teaching. The curriculum develops the entire musician (and even person) as we develop our listening skills, our reading abilities, our musicality/understanding and performance/improvisation.
Students will gain confidence as they compose their own pieces, perform the classics and well known and popular music too.
At Caves Beach we teach piano, guitar, drums, bass, rock and jazz bands, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, saxophone and more.
Glenn has taught music from early childhood, kids with special needs all the way to the Bachelor of Music level and has taught multiple instruments, including brass, guitar and drums. Glenn also plays both contemporary (specialising in Jazz) and classical piano. This gives Glenn a unique understanding and approach to music and teaching.
Glenn is a professional musician, performer and recording artist and one of the finest musicians in the Hunter region. His album ‘Shooting Arrows’ is a beautiful album showcasing his evident talent, proficiency and creativity. Over the years He has played with many great artists and bands including the award winning Sydney All Star Big Band, Greg Page from the Wiggles, Engelbert Humperdink, The TCB band (Elvis’ Band for 10 years) and has backed the Rolling Stones. Glenn is still pushing himself musically and working on some of the hardest piano repertoire there is, including Prokofiev’s Toccata. You can have a look at this piece on YouTube here.

Sarah is a musically gifted young person and great with the younger students. As a student of Glenn’s she teaches consistently with how Glenn teaches the more advanced students. Meaning that if the student continues in their musical journey, when Glenn becomes their teacher there is no need for unlearning/relearning. With the foundation built the student will continue to excel.
