Seddon Music is passionate about helping people of all ages to reach their musical potential. We embrace a student-first approach to our teaching, realising that we all don't learn the same way.
Glenn has been teaching for 36 years and in that time has taught from pre-schoolers to university level, with many of students having gone on to being professional musicians themsleves.
Our curriculum is unique as Glenn developed it after years of seeing what works and what doesn't work with students.
In 2025 Sarah joined the team and she teaches many of our younger piano students.
At Seddon Music, no matter what instrument we are teaching, we strive to develop the whole musician. The ears, sight reading, technique, musicality and theory. We do all this whilst having a stack of fun and developing a lifelong appreciation of music in general.
We teach piano to the highest level, both classical and jazz (as well as other contemporary styles), guitar, bass, drums, trumpet, trombone and sax, organ and ukelele.
In 2026 we are introducing partner lessons and later on this year group lessons, giving students more pathways to thier learning.
Feel free to contact us and/or enrol today for Term 1.
We have a fairly tight schedule in the afternoons from 3pm and have a little more flexibility at other times.
