The Academy Students Stream is ONLY for those that are wanting to quickly grow in their skills on the piano. It is for either classical or jazz piano and entry to this stream is through audition/interview only.
You don't have to already be a promising pianist. You can be a complete beginner, however this is for those that are serious only.
A plan is set and a practise schedule is agreed to, to enrol and stay in this stream.
Lessons are before school or Saturday mornings for this stream and are at least an hour long a week. There are perfomance opportunities, exams optional and occasional group work.
There is a slight discount to the lesson prices in this stream and you can expect to see rapid progress, whether you do jazz, classical or both.
In this stream, music theory, scales and certain pieces are essential.
The piano academy stream is for those that are wanting to be or at least play as good as a professional pianist one day or simply see rapid progress.
These lessons with Glenn will inspire, motivate and see results.
Glenn is a professional jazz and classical pianist, composer and educator and has played at the highest level. Performing a number of times at the Sydney Opera House and concert halls thoughout Australia and has taught music from 2 year olds to tertiary level. Many of his students have gone on to become professional musicians and educators.
