Glenn has been teaching music since he was 13 year old, he had his first gig when he was 8 playing at every Friday and Saturday night at the local bowling club and did his first concert when he had only been playing for a few weeks.
When Glenn was 15 he did work experience on the Midday Show, playing trombone and at 16 won a national organ competition in the adults catergory, showing clearly his ability from an early age.
An experienced Jazz musician Glenn has a number of TV appearances, played at the Opera House multiple times and has played with some of the biggest names in music, including backing the Rolling Stones.
After Glenn left school he practiced jazz piano for 8 hours a day for a number of years and has continued to mature as a professional jazz pianist and now also developing his classical repertoir.
Glenn plays a number of instruments including guitar, drums, bass and trombone. He is a composer and teacher of many years experience, teaching from pre-school to university level.
Glenn holds a Bachelor of Music from Wesley Institute where he became a lecturer whilst still being a student.
His curriculum has been developed through year of observing how students learn, drawing on his composition skills and varying and unique experiences as a multiple instrument teacher.
Glenn is also a 6th generation Chopin student, meaning he had lessons with a lineage of teachers that can be traced back to the master composer, pianist and teacher Frederic Chopin.
In 2025 Sarah joined the team and the younger students adore her. She is patient, gentle and fun making the start of a students musical journey as good as it can be.
She teaches Glenn's curriculum so that there is a seemless transition if students continue and are ready to have lessons with him.
